Mixtories 2 "The Larsen Legacy"

Great Grandfather James saved seven lives on Lake Michigan and earned a gold Life Saving Medal. He and his son were then stranded near Manitoulin Island when their schooner was sunk in a storm. Listen as that son brings the first museum ship to the Great Lakes and then is involved in a collision on Lake Huron that sinks a Norwegian freighter. Their ship, Ormidale then sails into World War II and is lost to a U-Boat torpedo off North Carolina’s coast. The enemy sub is attacked and sunk just 1000 feet from where the old Ormidale lies in the Atlantic Ocean. It’s all an amazing Mixtory!
