It was Lake Michigan’s most terrifying storm. 126 mile per hour winds ripped the freighter Anna C. Minch in half.. and flipped the giant William Davock, killing all of it's crew. It also pushed the smaller Novadoc onto a sand bar, breaking it nearly in half. 17 sailors endured 36 hours in the doomed ship, finally rescued by 3 fishermen from Pentwater, Michigan. This unique DVD includes interactive dive-sites of the Minch and Novadoc, along with cards and letters sent to the fishermen that rescued the sailors. Also included are tributes to Captain Allen, lost on the Davock (and his final note home written just two days before the storm), and Chief Engineer Reive, lost on the Anna C. Minch. The DVD also has special sections on the rescue of the crew of the Sinaloa, and the grounding of the Frank J Peterson.
