These are the most famous wrecks of Lake Michigan, as featured on the PBS series "Great Lakes Indepth!". From the largest shipwrecks Carl D. Bradley & carferry Milwaukee, to the popular dive sites of the Prins Willem V and Frank O'Connor, this DVD also features the worst storm to hit the lake, the 1940 Armistice Day Storm. Southwest Michigan's underwater preserve and the Manitou Passage preserve are also featured. This program also highlights efforts by the State of Wisconsin to document wrecks and create a new maritime trail. It also features archeology on a wreck found in the sand near Naubinway, Michigan.
